A practical first entry
Start with a record you can recognize later.
Use the set or custom-build name as the entry name, put the manufacturer and set number in Brand and Model when useful, and use Notes for build state, missing pieces, instructions, box, and storage bin.
Every Hoblio piece has the same built-in fields: name, brand, model, Owned or Wanted status, purchase price, purchase date, one photo, Notes, and use history. Hobby-specific details are manual Notes, not automatic or verified fields.

The following are suggestions, not built-in fields or verified data. Add only the details that are useful to you:
- Set identity. Set number, release year, theme, or the name of a custom build.
- State. Built, disassembled, or sealed; missing or replacement pieces; and whether instructions or the box are present.
- Location. Display position, storage bin, parts drawer, or other detail that helps you find it.
One mistake worth avoiding.
Hoblio does not download inventories or scan boxes. If completeness matters, record how and when you checked the set.
Hoblio does not automatically identify a set or build, fetch specifications, scan a barcode, verify authenticity or condition, estimate market value, or provide a marketplace or community database.
Keep the catalog as small as it needs to be.
Add a name and photo, then fill in brand, model, purchase details, Notes, or use records only when they help. Daily ownership cost is purchase price divided by days owned; use history stays separate. The free tier includes one hobby and up to ten pieces. Hoblio Pro is an optional one-time purchase that removes those limits; your local price appears in the store.
Hoblio stores shelf data locally, has no account or Hoblio-operated cloud sync, and does not collect behavioral analytics. Read the common privacy and backup details once rather than relying on repeated claims in every hobby guide.
