Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Hoblio mobile application and website ("Hoblio"), operated by MOODOOS LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Hoblio, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. These Terms supplement, and do not replace, the applicable Apple or Google store terms and end-user license agreement. They do not waive mandatory consumer rights.

What Hoblio is

Hoblio is a local-first personal hobby shelf. You may use Hoblio to organize your hobbies, pieces, notes, usage logs, and optional photos. The app stores this information on your device.

License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Hoblio for your personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms and the applicable platform store terms. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, distribute, or use Hoblio to operate a public database or marketplace, except where the applicable store terms or law permit otherwise.

Your content

The information you add to Hoblio is yours. You are responsible for the content you enter into the app and for any backups you export or share outside the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except as permitted by applicable law or an applicable open-source license;
• redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app;
• use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates the rights of others;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems related to the app.

Intellectual property

The Hoblio name, logo, illustrations, app code, and interface design are owned by MOODOOS LLC or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party components remain subject to their applicable licenses. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you or your content to us.

Backups

Hoblio can export a local backup file through the system share sheet. Anyone with access to that file can read its contents. The export is not encrypted by Hoblio. Keep backups somewhere you trust; do not rely on Hoblio as the only copy of important information. Copies you export, share, or retain in operating-system backups are managed separately from the app.

Hoblio Pro and purchases

Hoblio offers an optional one-time in-app purchase called "Hoblio Pro" that unlocks the app's current local Pro features, including removal of the free-tier limits. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play in accordance with their own terms. Use the relevant store's process for billing questions or refund requests; this does not limit remedies you may have against us under mandatory law. Your local price is shown before purchase in the store.

Purchases can currently be restored only within the same app-store ecosystem. An App Store purchase does not unlock Hoblio Pro on Google Play, and a Google Play purchase does not unlock it on iPhone. Within the same ecosystem, restore availability depends on the store account and store rules.

Hoblio Pro unlocks unlimited Shelves and Pieces. It does not include a Hoblio cloud account or Hoblio-operated sync.

No recurring subscription is required for the current local Pro features. Hoblio does not currently provide account sign-in or Hoblio-operated cloud sync. Any separately offered paid service would require a separate purchase decision; an existing one-time purchase does not authorize recurring charges.

Changes to Hoblio

Hoblio may change over time as features are added, improved, or removed. Changes and any discontinuation remain subject to applicable store terms and mandatory consumer law, including any required notice or remedies. This section does not allow us to disregard rights attached to an existing purchase.

No warranty

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOBLIO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit every specific use case.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall MOODOOS LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Hoblio, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees.

Termination

You may stop using Hoblio at any time by uninstalling the app. If you materially breach these Terms, the license granted to you under these Terms terminates. This does not imply that Hoblio can remotely access, suspend, or delete data stored on your device. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual property, No warranty, Limitation of liability, and Governing law) will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. We will provide additional notice of material changes, and seek agreement, where required by law. A website update alone does not retroactively remove rights associated with an existing purchase or authorize new data uses.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or access to courts available under the law of their residence. Platform store purchases or distribution remain subject to the Apple App Store or Google Play terms.

Entire agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy describe the agreement between you and MOODOOS LLC regarding Hoblio, together with applicable Apple or Google terms. Store terms control where they must apply.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
