- Nib. Width, material, grind, and any adjustment or repair you have recorded.
- Filling and ink. Filling system, converter, current ink, or combinations you want to remember.
- Care. Cleaning, repair, or nib-work dates and who performed the work.
One mistake worth avoiding.
Ink changes over time. Add a date when you record the current ink so an old note is not mistaken for the pen's present fill.
